Good intentions don’t clean the sea. Action does.

A charitable donation costs you very little, but can do a great deal.

The State recognises tax benefits for those who choose to donate to Third Sector Entities. Donations in cash or in goods may be deducted from total declared income, within the limit of 10%.

If the amount of the donation exceeds this limit, the excess may be deducted in subsequent tax periods, up to the fourth.

Alternatively, individuals may choose the tax deduction: for donations to voluntary organisations, the income tax deduction is equal to 35% of the amount donated, within the maximum limit of 30,000 euros per tax period.
