Borromini Institute — American University in Rome
Environmental education and a clean-up along the Tiber, with over 200 kg of waste collected by students.
In collaboration with the Borromini Institute — American University in Rome, piùblu ets promoted a day dedicated to environmental awareness, combining knowledge, responsibility and direct action on the ground.
The morning opened with a lesson on good practices for environmental protection and the reduction of pollution. Students were involved in an educational session on microplastics, everyday behaviour and the tools each person can use to contribute to the protection of ecosystems.
From education, the group moved to action: students took part in a clean-up activity along the banks of the Tiber, turning what they had learned into a direct act of care for the local environment. The result was significant: over 200 kg of waste collected, thanks to a collective effort that made the connection between environmental education and civic responsibility visible.
