ROME
Our conscience shapes our future.
WE CAN BLU IT! THANK YOU ROME!
WE CAN BLU IT! THANK YOU ROME!
A common mission: to raise communities’ awareness of caring for our waters.
Participating clubs: Circolo Canottieri Ondina Generali — piùblu operational base, Circolo Canottieri Aniene, Circolo Canottieri Roma, Circolo Canottieri Lazio, Circolo Canottieri Tre Ponti, Circolo Deportivo, Centro Remiero Baja, Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo, ASD Canottieri Navalia, Circolo Canottieri Tirrenia Todaro, Centro Sportivo Rai, Circolo degli Esteri, Effe, Tiber, Wow Team Rowing, Canottieri Salvo D’Acquisto, Ponte Milvio.
We warmly thank all the Clubs for their prompt participation in the 2024 edition of our Rome clean-up on the occasion of World Rivers Day. Your collaboration gave rise to a wonderful wave of highly efficient piùblu volunteers who, in the space of a single morning, enabled us to remove well over 10 m³ of waste from the banks and waters of our beloved Tiber! A fantastic team effort made possible by the participation of your members, together with many local residents — young and old — united by a love of the environment and respect for nature.
We are already working on new collective awareness-raising initiatives. In the meantime, below you will find a collection of all the videos from the clean-up, from Ponte Risorgimento to Ponte dell’Olimpica.
If you have others, we invite you to send them to us: we will be happy to publish them here.
A huge thank you to everyone!
