WE CAN BLU IT! THANK YOU TURIN!
A common mission: to raise communities’ awareness of caring for our waters.
Participating clubs: Reale Società Canottieri Cerea, Società Canottieri Esperia Torino, Circolo Eridano, Società Canottieri Armida, CUS Torino.
piùblu warmly thanks all the Turin clubs that joined the clean-up of the river Po on the occasion of World Rivers Day 2024.
Our gratitude goes to the club members and to the citizens of all ages who got involved in clearing the Po of waste — both from boats and along the cycle path on the riverbanks.
A precious and industrious wave of volunteers equipped with the piùblu collection kit removed a large quantity of plastic materials and other waste from the river, restoring dignity and wellbeing to the river ecosystem.
We are already working on new collective awareness-raising initiatives. In the meantime, below you will find a collection of photos and videos from the clean-up.
If you have others, we invite you to send them to us: we will be happy to publish them here.
A huge thank you to everyone!
YOU CAN BLU IT TOO!
