Coccia di Morto/Fiumicino

A clean-up on the Fiumicino coast: removal of bulky waste and abandoned materials.
On 18 June, with the support of the American Overseas School of Rome — AOSR, piùblu ets returned to Coccia di Morto in Fiumicino for an environmental clean-up in an area particularly exposed to waste accumulation. Participants removed plastic, dispersed materials and bulky waste. Among the items recovered was an ice cream freezer cabinet approximately 2 cubic metres in size — a clear sign of a situation requiring ongoing attention and intervention. In total, approximately 300 kg of waste were collected. The action helped to clear a severely compromised stretch of beach.
