A corporate clean-up at Fiumicino to restore care to a stretch of coastline marked by abandonment.
With the support of Daimler Truck Financial Services Italia, piùblu ets carried out a clean-up intervention on the Coccia di Morto beach in Fiumicino, involving 50 volunteers divided into five teams.
For over three hours, participants worked among the dunes and along the coastal stretch, contributing to the removal of dispersed waste and abandoned materials. The action restored attention to a fragile area exposed to the accumulation of waste and in need of ongoing care.
24 bags of waste were collected, along with 2 HGV tyres, 2 fuel cans full of petrol, empty gas canisters, 1 stainless steel sink and approximately 100 metres of abandoned fishing net. In total, 1,300 kg of materials were removed and handed over to ATI, the urban hygiene service operator. The initiative confirms the value of collaboration between businesses and local organisations.
