Earth Day: from education to concrete action
A journey combining workshop and fieldwork, with over 50 kg of waste collected alongside students from AOSR.
On the occasion of Earth Day, piùblu ets took part in the Villaggio per la Terra in Rome — one of the most significant events dedicated to sustainability and environmental education.
During the initiative, piùblu ets ran an open public workshop on microplastics, with the aim of making a little-known but increasingly necessary topic more understandable. Children, families and visitors were able to engage with the issue through simple activities, guided observations and moments of discussion.

The journey did not stop at awareness-raising, however. In collaboration with the American Overseas School of Rome — AOSR, piùblu ets involved students in a clean-up activity dedicated to the care of the local environment.
The result was tangible: over 50 kg of waste collected, and a day in which knowledge, participation and responsibility translated into a visible act.
