SHORE: educating for the future, starting with the youngest
A shared mission: raising awareness among new generations about caring for our waters.
In collaboration with Explora — the Children’s Museum of Rome, piùblu ets has created SHORE, an interactive workshop designed to bring children and families closer to one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time: microplastics.
Through hands-on activities, experiments and guided exploration, children were involved in an educational journey capable of translating a complex scientific topic into accessible, direct language connected to their everyday lives.
The workshop enabled younger participants to recognise the impact of microplastics on the environment, on ecosystems and on daily life, stimulating curiosity, critical thinking and a sense of responsibility. It also engaged families in an intergenerational dialogue on sustainability and the importance of more conscious behaviour.
With SHORE, environmental education becomes a concrete experience: a first step towards forming more attentive, informed citizens who are ready to take care of the planet.
