Make a Change World is an environmental media and production company committed to telling inspiring stories of positive change. Founded by three siblings — Kelly, Gary and Sam — they have been on the front lines of the battle to protect the environment for 13 years.
Growing up on the island of Bali, Indonesia, they witnessed first-hand the devastating impact of plastic pollution. In 2009 they founded “Make a Change Bali,” a youth organisation dedicated to beach clean-ups. Over time, they combined their passion for filmmaking and visual storytelling to expose the environmental injustices they were experiencing.
No idea is too wild to change the world!
They use video and social media as tools to build awareness and mobilise their audience. Their videos have surpassed 1 billion views, and their projects include bold ventures such as crossing the United States in shoes made from recycled materials and kayaking the world’s most polluted river on kayaks built from plastic bottles.
During their travels and filming, they’ve witnessed the devastating effects plastic is having on communities and on the environment. Through their stories, they aim to show the solutions available for fighting plastic pollution and many other environmental challenges of our time.
